Karen has been with Slink & Keating for over 14 years, with over 18 years of experience in the legal industry. Karen commenced with the firm as Practice Manager and has now progressed to the Principal Lawyer.
Karen is committed to providing clients with the best advice and representation. Her passion and reason for practicing in criminal law and child protection is to assist and change the path of people’s lives, particularly those who come from disadvantaged or traumatic backgrounds. Karen is especially passionate about everyone having a voice, especially those that struggle to have a voice without assistance.
Karen and her team’s main priority is to provide a legal service that assists every client in making a change in their life and assisting people through the Court process making the process as comfortable and stress free as possible for the client. Karen also has vast knowledge in the therapeutic options open to the Courts, including Drug Court and the Assessment & Referral Court.
Karen appears regularly in the Children’s Court, Magistrates’ Court, Children’s Court Family division, County Court and Supreme Court.
